Sail Into Your Destiny

Why is it that sometimes we allow ourselves to sail into negative thought patterns from negative persuasions and things said to us?  It impacts our lives in a very unhealthy way.  I asked the Lord this question, because I wanted to get to the root of this issue that many of us struggle with on the inside.  Jesus told me this…"if you receive it, then you will be it."  What He made me to understand in a greater way, but a very simplistic way is this…that we are what we think we are.  A man truly is as he thinketh.  A captain directs the sail of ship, but you choose whether you're going in his direction or not by getting on the ship or not.  Its your choice to cruise in his direction or not.  Free-will was given in the Garden of Eden and continues today.  What good is love if someone is forced to love you?  God wants us to love Him on our own, not because we are forced to.  There's no value placed on love: its in everything we see, good and bad.  Does not Psalm 24:1 say, "the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof?"

God gives us free-will, He doesn't force us into His Will.  With a spirit of power, love and a sound mind the Father gave us, we can't only live in the Spirit…we must wallk by it if we're going to be in His Will for our lives.  For a time, we may experience the Presence of the Holy Spirit and the Presence of the Lord as we pray and worship; but, then exit that realm and enter back into the realm of the flesh.  We're in this world, but not of it, so don't be conformed by it, its ways or ways of thinking.   Flesh and blood can't enter Heaven…but, an incorruptible spirit can.  God is looking for people who worhip Him in Spirit and Truth, not only through worship songs, but also acts of service by offering our bodies as living sacrifices: this includes our minds.  When God made a new convenant with us He said, He put His Law in our minds…this is His Rightous Law…the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ who sets us free from sin and death…sinful thoughts that are against His Truth and go contrary to His Will.

The reason why God wants us to live in the realm of the Spirit is so, we can exercise the righteous law of the Spirit and fulfill it in us…that's love and that's obedience.  God wants us to believe His Word, not the word of another.  Let God be true, but every man a liar.  God can increase His Truth in you, even through a lie told you by another, if you look to Him.  Then, your faith will increase and grow into the measure He gave you.  And, negative words will become like passing arrows that never hit your heart as you choose Jesus to always be your captian…loving Him, obeying Him and, believing in Him, even the truth about yourself in Him.

Guard your heart, so it won't it be corrupted, but kept pure from negativity for God

A penny has value and it can turn into multi-faceted assets when saved…so does and can a heart after God that chooses to receive and believe His Truth.  Don't just live the dream God gave you…believe it, choose it and walk in it so, you sail into the destiny God has planned for you.

~ 1 Corinthians 15:50
