Eyes of the Heart

The person you think is so “attractive”, so “very beautiful” and/or “handsome” could be the very one the enemy uses to harm you, if their heart isn’t in the Lord. Don’t let “being used” by the Lord for His glory confuse you into thinking a person is in the Lord.

Beauty shouldn’t only be determined by outward appearance, but by the person of the heart that is “out of view” and “invisible” to the naked eye. Together with the comeliness of love, peacefulness and gentleness, THE PERSON OF THE HEART becomes precious to God as it selflessly seeks to be made more and more in His Image, being unmistakable for its BEAUTY as it grows.

Looking through natural eyes can become a grave mistake, but through the EYES of THE HEART into the EYES of another that lives, moves and has its being in Jesus—a great wonder, delight and joy.

“Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren…Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures…But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
James 1:16 | James 1:18 | James 1:22

“Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
